Yes, I like to keyframe it to blendshapes to have that pinpoint control, but is more work. Alternative is cloth simulation, which saves time on general for long animations, but you have to simulate it, tweak values to your liking, and you have to make good animations to accompain the simulation.

Depends situation: if you are not using physbones (blender use only), like first pic (you pose the position of the first bone). If I'm using physbones (game engine), like second pic.

The only problem I see with Win 10 is the ceased support: it is required in order to not let people randomly get access to your computer by you just opening websites. The older the software it gets, the easier it gets for hackers to get vulnerabilities on the OS and create the right script for it.

Believe me, I miss using Affinity Designer, but I'm using Inkscape, and I get used to the workflow after a week of use.
