If you continue to support the Harry Potter franchise in any way, you are directly funding the removal of trans people's human rights in the UK.
Trans people have been around your whole life. You’ve been sharing bathrooms with them your whole life. They’ve been in your communities your whole life. They’ve even been playing sport your whole life.
And you didn’t care *at all* till a few years ago when every right wing org decided you should
We gays grew up hearing politicians claim that gay people having kids was “against nature,” “social engineering,” “grooming,” “ideology,” etc. Now this rhetoric is recycled to degrade trans lives. This is why the fight against transphobia is also a fight against homophobia. Bigots will trash us all.

This "debate" about who should use what toilet doesn’t benefit anyone. It doesn’t fix the underfunding of women's refuges, NHS waiting lists leaving women in terrible pain, mums skipping meals to feed their kids. How about we get on with tackling the real issues affecting women?
