Working on dynasty ranks and I think Javonte Williams might crack my top-10 dynasty RBs.

It’s fascinating to see the Trey Lance scenario play out again.

SF: Highly drafted rookie (Lance). Brock Purdy stars over injured Lance. 49ers keep Purdy and reach a Super Bowl.

MIN: Highly drafted rookie (McCarthy). Sam Darnold stars over injured McCarthy. Vikings struggle.

Worthy DROY candidate

As frustrating as it is to see the Patriots win again, we have two Super Bowls options ahead of us. Both are great.

1. MVP v MVP, Matthew Stafford v Drake Maye, in what could seal HOF status for Stafford.

2. Sam Darnold v the Patriots. Seattle gets a chance to avenge its Super Bowl loss v NE.

The Knicks cannot win this game with Karl Anthony-Towns on the court as he is now.

Concedes points one way and chucks up shots the other way.

It’s May 2025, and I’m still sending trade offers for Kendre Miller.

Zero regrets. This is the year.

Everyone’s ripping the Ravens language when releasing Justin Tucker, but idk.

I kinda enjoy knowing it’s obviously for criminal actions while the franchise repeatedly demands it’s only cutting Tucker because he’s flat-out awful.

Extra thoughts:

For the record, I don’t like mocking five first-round wide receivers.

The Rams were a very difficult team to pick for and look like a prime trade candidate in either direction.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a trade up for a QB somewhere between 22-32.

I haven’t done the level of research on the 2025 class that I’ve done every year since 2020. Just haven’t had the time.

That hasn’t stopped me from doing a mock draft, though.

Rip me apart. In a draft without trades, only one QB goes in the first round, and that’s Cam Ward.

Josh Uche is the IDP version of Khalil Herbert.

I still think he’s good based on a small sample size years ago, and I can’t quit him.

But I’ve been given no reason to think he’ll suddenly turn it around.

It’s fascinatingly terrible watching the Texans try to support C.J. Stroud while watching the Bears actually supporting Caleb Williams.

One player’s performance isn’t indicative of how another’s will turn out.

Going to the Jets and falling short of expectations is kinda par for the course.

I’d agree $20 million a year is a bit crazy for him as a guard. Didn’t see those figures.

But to say he’s a result of Trent Williams is a bit unfair. Think a lot of things went wrong for a lot of 49ers in 2024, offensively, that led the whole unit to underperform.

This year, yeah. He was much, much better in 2023.

That’s cause it was misreported and incorrect. $3.5 million back to the Bengals makes much more sense.

Aaron Banks to the Packers just makes a lot of sense.

Fits the mold Green Bay has always had for their guards and further protects Jordan Love before he takes an even larger beating than he has in recent years.

All while taking a piece off the 49ers.

Bears getting tough on both sides of the trenches this offseason. First Dayo Odeyingbo after a sea of OL signings, and now DT Grady Jarrett.

3 years, $43.5 million is a lot of money for a run-stuffer, but I imagine Chicago’s vision for Jarrett, a 10-year vet, isn’t limited to the football field.

Dyami Brown to the Jaguars feels similar to them signing Donte Moncrief to the same deal years ago, albeit for different reasons.

A solid deep threat on a prove-it deal. Lots of money, but that’s one thing Jacksonville has.

$22 million for Samaje Perine to the Bucs refuted by Tampa Bay GM Jason Licht himself.
