HAPPY NIXOS 25.05 DAY
That looks super interesting, and widely applicable, even beyond solving my interpreter per directory challenge.
Thanks a lot!
Thanks.
I'll try to make it work in the "normal" setup first, as you explained.
I'll read up on monorepo stuff later. Pretty sure «I'm holding it wrong!»😎
Thanks. I'll try to get that working.
I think the complication is that I'm in a monorepo, with multiple uv based "experiments", each in a subdirectory
Thanks for a great run!
Is there an rss feed for dysfunctional.fm yet?
Congrats on a great body of work! It's a game changer.
Anyone have A pointer to integration with IDEs like VSCode, so they can find the UV implied interpreter?
Thank you.
A delight to read.
Does that include the beam and jvm languages 😉⁉️
Oban can now be selected in the ash-hq.org installer! 🎉 It installs `ash_oban` which installs `oban`. Igniter is really living up to the high hopes that I had for it. The Ash installer is just one result of igniter, expect a lot more fun stuff coming soon 😎 #ElixirLang
Wow.
You are the hardest workin' player in the BEAM business!
Thanks
This is great stuff!
Very engaging and encouraging pairing partner

This was a fantastic episode.
Bodes well for the new Pod!!!
If you’re looking for a podcast episode that’s truly worth your time, this is it.
I just finished the latest episode of Fork Around and Find Out with Kelsey Hightower.
Wow, so many nuggets of wisdom from engineering, life, venture capital, entrepreneurship, and even Google products management.
Ya!
Do you think we'll get more First Law?!
In a Livebook 😋
I liked the part in your blog about holding out to read the last Culture book.
I did the same with last First Law standalone!
Nice summary @macdonst.bsky.social . Congrats for the commitment, variety and consistency.
You have definitely inspired me to read more and more widely as well!
We're excited to bring you the FIRST-EVER episode of the Fork Around and Find Out Podcast.
Joining us is the incredible Kelsey Hightower!
He opens up about his 25-year career, Kubernetes, remaining authentic in tech, and why he quit Twitter cold turkey.

Thanks for the reply. I am just learning about system containers. I was thinking of replacing my current Proxmox with a NixOS base hypervisor, running incus. Sort of the inverse of what you are describing. So many ways to stich thing together!
Thanks for sharing.
Are you using incus for LCD?
What a fantastic story!
Great conversation as well.
Thanks @davelucia.com.
I need to split out, error vs info, where the volume is quite unequal.
I was experimenting with multiple subtopics vs headers vs payload.
As you mentioned, it's about each use case in the end.
I look forward to that blog article, if you find the time to put it together
Do you account for logging "severity/level" somehow? (critical, error, info,..)
Do you mix nix and incus?
I'd love to see the topic hierarchy.
Incus!
