its why i like battle royale spinoff modes, resurgence in warzone where you drop in with weapons of your choice and some items already on a small map and are able to respawn as long as your squads alive. its actually kinda fun that way!

the current steam version is good! you cant really go wrong with the modern console and current pc version, theres a ton of little differences in balancing and such between versions but the new ones are pretty uniform, even if it differs!
oh and if you play a second time, the RE4 hd project is cool
