It's about 7 Watts, so since it's always on that's a lot of Watt-hours (Joules). You usually only microwave things for a few minutes total out of a year so the 1200 Watts it uses for that 1 or 2 hours (2.4kWh) just doesn't compete with 7 Γ 24 Γ 365 = 61.3kWh
