My Indie Game Just Got WAY More Customizable. Players can now design the floors in my game using scrolls that they purchase. This admittedly took way longer than it should have to make, but I like it. #gamedev #indiegames #indiegamedev #gamedevelopment
I replaced my entire building system in my game with....scrolls! #indiegame #gamedev #gamedeveloper #indiegamedev
New week and a new update! I'm finally getting around to adding art to my Indie game about being a skeleton summoned by a necromancer to manage his tavern! #indiegame #gamedev #gamedeveloper #indiedev
Finished the grid system on my tavern sim game, it feels good! Just need to fix a few small hitches and it will be good to start adding art to it :) #indiegame #indiedev #gamedev
I'm making good progress on my game about being a skeleton summoned by a wizard to run his tavern.
You can finally build your restaurant the way you want to! It's missing some functionality still, but the core of it is thereπ

I'm blown away. I asked people to give me name ideas for NPCs in my video game. Over 1000 people gave me their ideas. dnd characters, and more. I've never had that many people view or comments on any video game I've been working on so much. I am very thankful! #indiedev #indiegames #gamedev
Put your fun fantasy-themed names into my game! As long as this post is up, I will add the names commented below to the game, watch the video for more info #indiegames #gamedev #indiegame:
I made a restaurant prototype, people liked it, and now I'm turning it into a full game - week 2! #indiegames #gamedev #indiegamedev
This is an awesome Reference Art tool for game devs and digital artists, highly recommend! #gamedev #indiedev #gamedevelopment
Yeah, I've thought about that, multiplayer would definitely make it a lot more fun, not sure I'm ready to tackle a multiplayer game though haha. For now, it's single player
I made a cooking game prototype. Should I keep working on it? #indiegame #gamedev #indiegamedev #indiegames #indiedeveloper
Character modeling is a specific weakness I have as a game developer; it's just something I'm not good at, or at the very least, not comfortable with. So here is the first enemy in my game, modeled/rigged in Blender. They can only go up from here lol

Thanks!
I did a massive overhaul of the artwork for my game. I realized that it would take me 5 more years to finish at my current pace if I didn't make a change.
Does it look as good? Most people will probably think it looks pretty much the same π

Making puzzles in a roguelike game where the tiles can all be accessed from different locations has been an interesting experience, but I've been coming up with some fun and clever solutions that are both familiar and different in my game :)

I'm getting close to finishing a stable version of my first roguelike dungeon. I've been adding simple puzzle mechanics like this one to it to make things a tad more interesting. I'm excited to have a few people test it out!

Redid all of my base dungeon tiles for caves. Now they feel more congruent with the rest of the stuff I've made.

Thar be treasure in the game now...it just needs some polish
#indiedev #gamedev #indiegamedev #roguelike #indiegames
Love the aesthetic, it looks very cool, keep it up :)
Who hurt you
hmm yeah, good point. I think it's on it's way to being good, but there are parts that definitely need a little help

Here is what they looked like yesterday
I didn't like the dialogue boxes I made yesterday, so I gave them another shot. Thoughts?

Hey! I've had many people reach out to me for this purpose, and it's something I might do in the future, but I want to make sure that I have something that's worthy of the support. I appreciate that you're interested in helping out, but I just want to make sure I can deliver on what's being made.
If I ever start some sort of crowdfunding, I'll be sure to announce it :)
