Mine was a cramped basement with a spiky rat larger than me, wearing chains and so angry, but when I paused and asked why, it shrunk to a small, scared child-rat. Best attic was the size of a ballroom, empty with tall windows open, beautiful light, a breeze blowing curtains - room to do/be anything.

Many of mine are architectural too - so clear I could draw a floor plan. The most significant ones are about discovering an attic that I never knew existed or exploring the basement to find the scary things aren’t so scary - no psych degree needed when my dream world language is that obvious.
