Probably not going to be helpful in your case, but if you’re already using vscode in your project, maybe worth trying out cursor. The fact it lets you choose models is maybe interesting here. I’ve found it pretty versatile thanks to that.

A collection of six pixel art textmode mockups, showing different screens of an RPG, such as: a dungeon exploration scene, a menu scene displaying a map of the area, an enemy encounter against a shaman, a party management menu, and an upgrade screen where a shadowy figure prompts the player to select a "boon".
it's #screenshotsaturday so here's the unfiltered version of a bunch of my textmode mockups!

Le Monde reporting that a French scientist traveling to Houston to attend a conference was denied entry to US after a search of his phone & computer revealed messages critical of Trump's science cuts, "which [says CPB] conveyed hatred of Trump & could be qualified as terrorism". Computer confiscated
Funky display behind the barista at a café in Montréal, with vinyl toys and funko pop characters, a golden lucky cat, three types of milk alternatives on display. But most notably we see a part of the menu: espresso, allongé, latte, and, written by hand to cover the old menu item, *Canadiano*.

Rewards include some classic C64 games in catridge form. If you have an old unit hanging around, pretty cool perk. (Those old floppies don't survive as well..)
New Apollo Kotlin course is out 🚀
How did you make music on a C64? That took not just understanding music theory, but understanding what exactly a note is. Granted, it doesn't help that Lftkyro makes typing in assembly in BASIC off the top of your head look simple.

Cory Doctorow on #FreeOurFeeds
Yesterday, an initiative called "Free Our Feeds" launched, with a set of goals for "billionaire-proofing" social media. [...] I'm one of the inaugural endorsers for this because installing fire exits for Bluesky isn't just the right thing to do, it's also good tactics

« C’est peut-être décentralisé, mais c’est pareil! »

Really appreciated the opportunity to talk to Shahram Izadi about Android XR and also his history with and thoughts about XR and its possibilities. It makes me flashback to learning about the HCI field in grad school and how the right interface/experience can unlock potential.
Last episode of the year is a big one with a live interview with Shahram Izadi, VP & GM, AR/XR at Google, talking all things Android XR! That plus our picks for the best and worst of 2024! #android
