Great question. I think Thorne probably bribes Arlo to go. With something like a cozy date night in, x days of good behavior, or if Arlo was feeling especially obstinate - agreeing to spend the holiday back home with Arlo's family. Cause Thorne hates the holidays. So equal trade on that one.

Honestly, I forgot I was doing this. Work and school have me swamped. BUT I'm gonna take my free day today to revisit Day 6 prompt. My favorite writing tool - that I find most helpful - is 4thewords. Great for my ADHD. Highly recommend.

It wouldn't change a whole lot, mainly because despite being from a hunting forward family, Arlo has never held a gun and can't aim for shit. Home boy wouldn't change the plot line or the way events unfold at all 😔

Arlo wouldn't want to be caught dead at a fancy party. Unfortunately for him, Thorne loves them. He loves the getting dressed up aspect of and he's also a social butterfly so he loves mingling. Plus the free drinks/food.

Werewolves in my world have two forms they can use. One is Lycan form, and thats the standard bipedal monstrous wolven form. The other is Wolf form where they take on an entierly 4-legged canine appearance. Lycan forms stand a foot taller than the individual is, Wolf forms stand a foot shorter.

Oh Ariana we're really in it now. Arlo is still very shocked by the Situations™️ he's being forced to experience. Though he really shouldn't be at this point. The events over the last 6 chapters should have been eye opening, and prepared him for this

In my universe supernatural creatures can cross breed. There are angels, demons, werewolves, vampires, and merfolk. Moonfallen includes one of my favorite little guys who is what's called a hellhound. A demon/werewolf cross.In his werewolf forms he has horns! And in human his tail and horns persist.

Thorne is haunted by the fact he's been viewed as a monster since birth. For reasons completely unrelated to being a werewolf. In fact he didn't even know he had lycan blood until he shifted for the first time at 15. That shift did not go well, and he left a lot of blood in his wake...

Absolutely. Tourist season is at its peak in fall & around Halloween in Khario as the main pull of the small, historic, costal town is the abundant rumors of supernatural sightings and encounters. It's built on it's spooky reputation so naturally thats when they see the most visitors 🌒✨️🐺

My goal when I started writing Moonfallen: nurture my inner child and write a book about werewolves. Now? I have a whole series (Secrets of Khario) planned exploring most of my characters, giving them arcs/plots, and love interests. Like sheesh Abie...finish the initial book first.

Arlo is turning off all the lights and avoiding the door while Thorne is busy hosting a Halloween event as his bar complete with a spooky special menu, and costume contest. Winner gets their meal/drinks free for the night, a plaque to take home, and a physical VIP Pass to skip lines/order queues.

"I feel that fear as if it were my own, but I am here to assure both you and the pack: no one is in danger here. And if danger does come knocking at our door, I will fight to protect you all until the breath is stripped from my lungs. This I solemnly swear to you."

Oh yes! He has what everyone jokingly calls a 'not pack' which is essentially just a band of fellow rogues (read:found family). That group includes his recently found older half-brother who, like everyone else in the group, views Thorne more as exhausting, but a loved part of the family.

(2/2) Some people have learned to harness his hair pin trigger, and not for the greater good.
Thorne doesn't mind being feared in that regard. He's not a pack wolf anyway, he's too headstrong to follow anothers leadership. But even if you fear him...just don't let him hear you call him a monster.
