Yeah it’s ridiculous, like you can’t pretend it was just about murder and supernatural stuff, even if wasn’t depicted it was always clear about the kind of abuse she suffered
It really was, she’s the heart of that series, even more than Cooper can be, and she deserved to get time in the spotlight directly, even if at the time people saw it as filler misery porn (which is unsurprising but still feels insane to me)
It’s my favorite part of Twin Peaks, I love that when everyone wanted to know what happened next to Dale Cooper, Lynch wanted to show Laura’s life and death from her perspective, giving her the full light of humanity the other characters got but she couldn’t get in the show

A lot of Automata feels like when you get to an episode that starts off normal but then becomes a recap episode where they put new dialogue over the clips so you have to keep watching it

Yeah, either equivocation really misses the mark. I live in Utah and the queer community in SLC is pretty big and vibrant so it bothers me to see people say that stuff and to think that the person who made this up chose SLC cause he assumed that as well
I’m past the halfway point of Gundam Victory and it’s blowing me away. I really liked IBO, Zeta, ZZ, but this is the only show I’ve seen so far that matches the level of 0079, Char’s Counter Attack, and War in the Pocket for me
