It feels like AI will be the final nail in the coffin. Since everyone can just flood the internet with endless amounts of shit which has led to it becoming just... an unbearable cesspit.

And I can't help sooner or later that has to signal the end of the wild west era of it. From scams to spam to abuse I just can't see the internet remaining anonymous. I've literally seen this happen in real time, the trip from clicking on a video saying "Star wars sucks now because it's woke" to thinking "It's okay to blow up fishing boats and execute everyone on board with no due process in the Caribbean" is surprisingly fucking short.
