KIPP DC College Prep celebrates every senior being accepted to college Every senior at KIPP DC College Prep got into at least one college this year. News4’s Aimee Cho reports the school held a decision day ceremony to announce where everyone is headed.

DC students are making strides in math, yet challenges remain post-pandemic. @empowerk12.bsky.social, the DC Education Research Collaborative, and the DME are collaborating to enhance math instruction across the city, including holding the inaugural DC Math Summit and launching the DC Math Hub.

In honor of AANHPI Heritage Month, our team visited the Sightlines: Chinatown and Beyond at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Our team learned more about the history of DC's Chinatown and the complexity and depth of Asian American connections to DC. Check it out through Nov. 2025!
