I’d vote AIβ€”because it’s so incoherent.

Who else wrecks their algorithms doing book research? This is apparently what the internet thinks I need.

It’s beautiful!

What do you think? I bought the third book this summer but haven’t started it. I don’t know if I’m terrified of what I’ll read or I want to be closer to the next release before beginning.

Yes! Just reading that had me cringing πŸ˜¬πŸ˜‚ Trellis for the win.

I like this imagery of a trellis. It’s much prettier than the skeleton I always imagine whenever I start a new chapter. With a trellis, plants can be pruned or fertilized, nutritious, dangerous, beautiful, fun, or all the above. I’m going to try that out tomorrow.

This also explains why voice is such a big deal.

I’ve never thought of stories this way but it makes absolute sense. The way characters react to a situation, their unique perspectives, are the change readers want in familiar tropes.

Happy Friday! Yesterday I worked for five hours on one chapter, hoping today will be productive too. Also, drool is Bes’s superpower.

This is how I recharge too! Either with my rose and wildflower gardens or my orchids. Also, long walks in the woods.

A whoops episode would be good too. Everyone makes mistakes from misspelling an agent’s name to sending the wrong material. I would assume most of us make similar mistakes so advice on what to do would also be really helpful.

Thinking back to when I was first learning about the publishing world, there was so much foreign terminology and many new expectations to wrap my head around. It would have been great to have a resource like this to help demystify common publishing practices.

An angler fish would terrify me. Did you make these, RC?

I pulled up the episode, then remembered I had heard it previously. I really agreed with the analysis. CeCe and Carly are so savvy.
