Using Qud as your break game is pretty amazing.
Make sure you throw Caves of Qud in your cart while you're buying those Pokemon games, it really compliments the experience.

It makes me very mad too and game devs should be way more angry about this stuff, even for the selfish reason of wanting good press for your game.
Empty ad revenue is my guess. The websites they appear on seem ai generated themselves. Some of the reviews also plagiarize lines from real reviews.
GenAi game reviews are all over the place now. Doing a round up of Qud Switch reviews and it's the first time I've encountered any for our games.
