Were fans begging for a remake? A remaster that runs at a higher framerate? Sure, but I can't imagine demanding a remake when the original is still aces. What, aside from some tech improvements, could a remake add?

Oh. I didn't know.
Really enjoyed this essay from Matt Singer on the AFI's Top 100 Specials.
And if you enjoyed it too, I would (not so) humbly recommend my own video on that very topic.

"You can't take away GenAI what about the people who use it?! πππ"
Fuck 'em. Fuck every last one of them. The scrapers DDoS us every waking fucking hour, making it a nightmare to keep things running. I have ZERO sympathy for folks addicted to the plagiarism machine that lies to you.
Revolution feels 100x bigger than WrestleMania right now & both promotions know it.
Triple H's Booking Strategy:
The same slim jim ad with LA Knight and Bianca Belair played twice for god's sake! It's bad enough that every square foot of screen real estate is sponsored or that Michael Cole does paid ad reads or even that there are full-blown commercials on the show, but literally the same commercial!
"Incredible! Man who shit self on first-date made fascinating courtship mission that much harder."
So much of Elimination Chamber just wasted time. Virtually every wrestler in the men's and women's match entered the chamber slowly eyeing everyone else already in their pods. Why? Just have one wrestler do that to give it weight.
$30/month which includes a wrestling ppv every month should be a steal, but WWE has settled into the most anemic wrestling cards. 4 matches over the course of 3 hours is appaling.
It's especially prohibitive when what you're buying is three hours of entrances and advertisements broken up by the odd wrestling match, itself stuffed to the gils with ads.
The most prevalent response I've seen to this is The Rise of Skywalker, and by a wide margin. And idk, I feel like getting angry at Star Wars in 2019 is on you lmao.
Put me in coach, I'm ready to play!
I have watched too many shite Netflix movies to turn back now. This HAS to be for something.
Mannnn, I just recorded my voiceover are you fucking kidding me?
"nObOdY wAnTs 2 WoRk AnYmOrE!!!!"
This cover art is hilariously bad.
re: hockey, Muhammad Ali, one of the greatest boxers ever to live, gave up three years in the prime of his life β years in which his fighting would have been at peak; actual money incalculable β rather than fight in an unjust war, so noping out on grandpaβs burger bash should be an easy choice
Began my 2025 MCU catch-up with Captain New America: Brave New World tonight and uh, wow that was quite bad. Has the usual problems of bad MCU movies while also being hold together with scotch tape. I have no idea what story it's trying to tell or why. Just completely pointless.
Been a while since my last video. Wait is not quite over but I can say I'm currently waist deep in the next script. 5000 words so far and counting. Hoping to finish up the draft in the next few days.
In pro-wrestling circles this meme is still alive and well.

Masterful Troll, TCM.
It is not.
Obviously The Wall is not fully animated but I'll take any opportunity to demand the film's blu-ray release.
Pink Floyd: The Wall
A Scanner Darkly
The Plague Dogs
Persepolis
If this is the price for finally getting Stray Dog on Blu-Ray than I am happy to pay it.
Just please don't make me wait so long for Red Beard and The Bad Sleep Well. Let's also get those Kurosawa Eclipse sets Blu-graded.

The Manxman poster
I've been bad at promoting it but the Eyebrow x Hitchcock series has been going strong over on Patreon. Today, we tackled The Manxman, and reflected more broadly on Hitchcock's films from the silent era.

Yoko Taro is intriguing but I'ma be honest, the Rebuild films exhausted me to the point that I retroactively liked all of Evangelion less.
