The through line for me is always this: how can I make Washington more just, safe, prosperous and healthy?
In every session in big ways and small, out front and behind the scenes, there are a million ways to help that work advance and also to bring ideas forward that will advance later. #waleg
Good morning! Iβm proud to say that all six of my bills that were alive at cutoff have PASSED the Senate and are on their way to the Governor. I think thatβs a personal best for my prime sponsor legislation and a huge testament to the work of the amazing advocates on these teams. #waleg
Three bills to stand up for homeowners rights in HOAs and improve HOA practices (1500, 1501, and 2354). And a trailer bill to the first ever law I ever made β licensing music therapists β to make it easier for them to work while awaiting exam results #waleg
When @wyden.senate.gov mentioned Nuremberg 2.0, he wasn't joking, and neither are we.

The ur-text of this line of thinking, of course, is Rob Saka complaining that an 8-inch traffic safety median was akin to Trump's border wall & "retraumatizing" to immigrants
So there's still a pretty huge incentive to have them attached?
Before or after take off?
"As a cisgender, white, bisexual second son of a viscount, and as a gentleman landowner of multiple estates on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Celts and Saxons, I donβt see race."

Yeah, Google's original development philosophy was to have you spend as little time as possible on the search page itself by taking you to the results you want as fast as possible.
Then they realized they could make a lot of money by keeping you on the search results page instead and here we are.
Not sure about this...Google has been wrecking their search for a long time now, stuffing it with ads and drawing people away from the organic search results. The US sued them over this (and won!)
This just seems like the next iteration of wrecking it.
All I'm saying is Google had a vested interest in wrecking its magic search (people may have forgotten how insanely good it was, it was wizard level shit) because of how underwater they were on their AI investment and get you on to Gemini
interviewed someone about what it's like to live in a building owned by a two-time MVP and also not have heat in the aftermath of a blizzard defector.com/an-interview...
Even if it takes years, we have to bring EVERYONE who made this happen to justice. No moving on, no letting this go.
Revenge is good enough motivation for me personally, but the nobler and important reason is to ensure that anyone who thinks of doing this again knows theyβll rot in prison for it.
NEW: Pardon seekers are routinely being asked to pay $1m+ to lobbyists & lawyers claiming access to Trump, often with bonuses if clemency is granted.
I investigated the Trump Pardon Industrial Complex, & detailed the backstory behind 1 interesting pardon.
Still plenty of time to prosecute!

one of the dumbest positions I have heard from a Senate Dem (and the competition is fierce re who is the dumbest in that caucus).
People who can be prosecuted used a random number generator to choose targets and the random number generator led the people to kill children.
So, the take away here?
The US Military intentionally targeted a girl's school in Tehran with the goal as killing as many as possible.

We are so beyond the point of βdo you support this war or notβ. The only acceptable position for the Democratic Party is βwe are going to hold you accountable for war crimesβ. βWe are going to make up for letting Bush and Cheney walkβ.
Anything short of that is guilt by collaboration.
How does the Pentagon justify declaring this software a βsupple chain riskβ while using it to plan strikes?
How does Anthropic justify βrefusingβ to let Claude be used in planning, when it already is being used to murder children at school?
How are people so trusting of this technology?
Ugh π«©
Like, none of this is a secret. The planners at the DoD who are using this technology to make deadly decisions not only have blood on their hands, they should be put on trial for negligent homicide, for war crimes. It is an outrage that they are so careless with civilian lives.
War is not some game. Our troops are not toy soldiers. Civilian casualties are not nothing.
NO BOOTS ON THE GROUND.
NO WAR WITH IRAN.
Ever wondered who the people behind NYCβs street names are?
A new interactive map reveals the stories behind 2,500 co-named street signs honoring famous New Yorkersβand unsung heroesβacross the five boroughs.

Today, Congress is voting on a War Powers Resolution to demand that Trump end his war in Iran.
I am voting yes. This war is clearly illegal, unconstitutional, and a distraction from what Americans actually care about.

This was part of my Valentineβs Day gift. Trust me, it worked.
Itβs not my usual time period. But itβs really fascinating for thinking about the shape of race and class that feels relevant to how social movements in this state developed.
