Join us to clear scrub from the grassland & burn it on Saturday 11th October 2025 - meet 10am in front of East Brighton Park Cafe.

Please wear clothes suitable for gardening with sturdy boots. Gloves and tools provided. There’ll be a hot drink and cake break.

We've written to @brighton-hove.gov.uk today to request Big Belly Bins or help us find an alternative solution to this ongoing problem.

Tree popping on Sheepcote Valley. A 'tree popper' is a tool that gets in under the roots of unwanted shrubs to remove them. We do this to stop brambles taking over. It helps increase the diversity of plants that can grow and creatures that can live here. It's hard work, but fun!
