Wow. Squirrely and friends are partying big time. Can’t imagine why.
At least it’s a pretty night.
Squirrely and friends were celebrating some warmer weather for today. I heard “Good Morning Starshine” by Oliver. Definitely partying somewhere. Also heard them imitating Alvin and the Chipmonks. Seems to be in a good mood.
Catty dropped by with his friends. 10 (TEN) of them.
Catty is trying to keep order. Good luck said Protector Cat. Need me to talk to them?

Wise Crow told Protector Cat to tell the Two Legs to visit Duluth. We did. Catty came by with the deer and asked our experience. Wise Crow had told Catty Lake Superior is huge. So true.
Catty is sort of seen here with the deer.

I came outside this morning and Squirrely was singing “Good morning Starshine” by Oliver.
Me— How do you know that song?
Squirrely—We sang it at squirrel camp.
Me—Squirrel camp?
Squirrely—Yup. So much fun. Beautiful day

The deer and Catty arrived. Catty and the ducks worked out a deal (see earlier) & are happy. Squirrely not so much.
Wise Crow and Protector Cat say nothing is perfect.
Abbey the Bunny admitted Squirrely told her about stuff on the internet.

Ok. It happened again. Abbey the BUNNY and not Rabbit told me that she saw that on the internet. Squirrely did something similar. So how does Abbey know I put Rabbit. And how does she read English.
Inquiring minds need to know.
Ducks! Wise Crow contacted the ducks after a discussion with Protector Cat. Known as the ones who understand the greater good. Or as the ducks say “The greater good!” A whole flock! They flew off at the first sign of a camera. Reported to have said “Wabbit Season” (joke) to Abbey the Rabbit.
Squirrely—see. We made our own path.
Squirrely and friends no where to be seen.
Wise Crow and the flock (ok so I know what a bunch of Crows are called but they don’t like that) are happy.
Day 1 of Protector Cat and Nursey Cats agreements. Catty and the herd cam by at dusk. As per agreement.
Saw Wise Crow in a tree. Apparently talking (loudly) to Protector Cat. Deal worked out!!!
Trail times scheduled. Feeder times resolved!!! I asked Abbey the bunny to interpret. Abbey told me to ask BOTH Protector Cat and. Nursey Cat.
Oh and Squirrely did not win the how much did two legged eat.
Squirrely—I get it. Ok let me talk to my squirrels. Will you talk to your group?
Wise Crow—ok. And I’ll talk to Catty and the herd.

Squirrely—So talkative tonight. Are all you two legged types this talkative?
The cat-deer alliance. 10 (ten) deer and one cat running around. The deer told me that Catty is their muscle. Catty said nothing. Turns out it’s not just nuts but also the critter trail. All of them argue over the trail. So land and food. There is a truce now due to cold weather.
Update. Protector cat has been in communications with others. The most recent (sorry no photo as “undercover”) is a bunny. Specifically Abbey the bunny. Abbey is not this beings real name. Also known as Maštéča ptéčela.
Per Protector cat. All 4 legged types are at peace. The cold does that.
Squirrely—peace is good. We respect each other
Squirrely—Not really. We will be fine. Catty is keeping warm with the deer. Catty is an honorary deer. They call Catty Tahca Tonka.
Me—very interesting. Is there peace between the cat-deer alliance and you and the squirrels?
Squirrelly—too cold out
Squirrely—hi. It’s really cold and windy. You two legged types hide in warm houses. I’ve got a warm place to hide.
Me—Stay warm. Is there any food I can leave for you?

Fresh snow. Bright sunshine. The world is good.
The weather has positively affected the relationships between the cat- deer alliance, Squirrely and friends as well as Wise Cow and the murder of crows.

Update. Protector cat had a “cat to cat” talk with Catty. Happened almost immediately after Protector cat had a discussion with Wise Crow. And shortly after Nursey cat and Squirrely had a discussion.
Need the deer involved.
Seemed intense. Think it will be intensely serious if Protector cat gets involved. Updates will be coming. Could this be the end of the cat-deer alliance dispute with Squirrely. It should be noted that Protector cat already has communications with Wise Crow. We can hope.
