Every member of Happy Mondays seems to be performing (or dancing to) a different song. Itβs sort of great isnβt it #totp

Have not read this whole piece yet but as someone who has a child who struggled to attend school as well as friends and partners who have gone through burnout, what iβve read so far really resonates.
Was looking at this just the other day in the Tate. Just amazing
When Figo was little we let him out into our small back garden for his night time toilet break. As I collected his doings by flashlight I always used to sing 'Poo in the dark, and you're to blame/ You give pups a bad name' a la Bon Jovi. Kept me entertained at least.
I just noticed the postbox on our (London) street is βGRβ rather than βERβ which means pre 1936
Peter Sallis taxi driver
"You talking to me? Are you talking to me? I don't see anyone else around here, Gromit lad."
Funny how his first thought is βshe faked itβ - projecting much?

Rock up to London: discovering stones and fossils from around the world on an urban geology tour
Love how the BBC news just did a quick βcow scratches its own back with a broomβ story whilst we wait for Trump to turn up to his press conference.

Theresa Villiers on Badenoch. Oddly I hope she's right but this is the latest in the Telegraph's 'Whisper it' series. The record of this series is not good.... (thread)
Its a really interesting rhetorical form isn't it - 'I'm going to let you, clever Telegraph reader, in on a little secret I can only share with you as the masses don't understand' - flattery mixed with wishful thinking and a dash of implicit elitism.
Is it telling us to grab it by hand before it even hits the floor

Thatβs fascinating - all that work 10 weeks before shooting!
Congratulations! Marvellous news
Itβs bugging me but in that live Santana clip does he randomly change guitars half way though a solo #totp
Sounds so amazing doesnβt it. One basic sample but the way they chop it up, throw in some weird sub bass, genius.
I really enjoyed this - not least as Matthew Macfadyen and Nick Offerman are excellent as ever but basically playing their characters from Succession and Parks & Recreation with historical beards and costumes.
I've been trying to work out specifically what made me dislike it so much and I think it is something to do with the mismatch between money spent (too much), what it thinks it is (art) and what it actually is (B movie but minus the camp)
I thought it was βdonβt try and steal your brothers girlfriend then make a monster better looking than youβ
