israel arresting reporters for reportingπ
In 30 years of digital revolution his assistants still have to prints the tweets they ghost-write for him so he can read them on paper before posting. A business titan and president of the USA, who cannot use a computer. He couldn't learn a new language to save his life, this motherfucker.
Learning? This twat has been an ignorant by his own volition his whole life, and is now very publicly forgetting the little he knows on record speed.
The way they DO in Destiny, you mean. The Gabe still exists, stop trying to kill it. Bungie doesn't need any help with that.
Opera, for example, that always had an ad-block installed by default, now wants my authorization for collecting usage data so it can show me targeted advertisements. That's cool.
I'm reinstalling stuff on a newly formated computer, and having the opportunity to see what some softwares that I've been using for years look to new users. First shock is that they now intrudece themselves, "hey, this is Such-and-Suchβ’, I'm good and cool, and my AI is very useful".
Hegseth's holy war is the funniest shit because neither the USA is the center of christian faith not Iran is the holy land. Like, he's the one motherfucker in the leadership of that country that maybe actually believes this bullshit, and this mess of a justification is what he came out with.
We don't know if something similar ever happened on the American side, but if it did, there's was probably a cool and experienced professional involved in stopping it. And what keeps me awake sometimes is that I'm afraid those guys are being pushed out. Replaced by sycophants and, god forbid, AI.
Like.. I know I say we were lucky I those two cases, but reality is that two competent professionals, well trained and seasoned on their jobs, caught the errors and inconsistencies in they situations and were able to prevent disaster.
In the second situation a satellite monitoring system detected missiles coming into USSR territory, and on a second and third check it confirmed the information. By sheer luck one of the system's architects was in the room and was able to find the a big in the code that literally no one else could.
In one case the last of three offices that was needed to authorise the launch wasn't convinced that they had a complete picture of the situation, despite the fact their sub was literally shaking from explosion from American dept charges outside (really).
As we all know, there's was never an event that caused military archives to be open to the public in America. We don't know about close calls to launch on their side, and if there were, we don't know why they didn't launch. We know about the soviet cases, and it's chilling how close we were from it.
You know what wasn't found in those files? Records of lost nukes. They never lost warheads, with the exception of the ones deployed on subs that sunk. Those are beyond reach, but there's no mystery of where they were. And today we know about those losses even though they were a military secret.
We know about those two soviet close calls because the USSR broke, and as it happens when regimes fall, there was a lot of push for clarity over old secrets. Files from that period were open, and those two cases were found somewhere in there. The secrecy was gone because the system was gone.
Now, we know Americans lost at least six warheads in accidents. They are still out there, unaccounted for, hopefully forever unrecoverable. And I'll wager we only know that because in the efforts to recover said warheads, their military had to interact with civilians, who were not sworn to secrecy.
You know what scares the fuck out of me? We know of at least 2 times the Soviets got spooked by misinformation and almost launched nukes, and it came to none single guy being chill enough to look at the situation and stop it. We never heard of any situation like this on the American side.
CHINA: "The US is a war addict. Throughout its over 240-year history, it has been at war for all but 16 years. The US has 800 overseas military bases in over 80 countries and regions. The US is the main cause of international disorder, global turbulence, and regional instability."
Where is the lie?
everyone loved the tech industry's free music and friendship machines of 20-30 years ago. it's unclear what could be causing people to feel the opposite about the industry's new racism and insanity machine
Bolsonaro in prison, Yeon sentenced to prison, Andrew arrested on his birthday...and America still holding on to a 34 count felon as President.
Love that AI, a thing we hate and donβt want, steals everything, ruins everything, shittifies everything. Drinks our water, plagiarizes our art, pisses all over our information fidelity, drives kids to suicide, serves the right-wing, and fucks up our devices and services. Good job, techbros!
Taking your own food when youβre going TO ITALY. truly the sign of a demented mind
Mucho que bien
Be happy? Are you out of your mind? Do you think this is about ego? That we got some nice warm feeling of validation from being right? Y'all had to had shit happening on your own neighborhoods to believe things we've been trying to alert everyone for years, and you want a fucking welcome committee?
Thereβs at least 15 of theseβ¦
I just faced worse conditions digging up frozen dog poop from the my backyard for now that some of the snow from last month melted.
