The Democrats (elected) are failing to serve as an opposition to the Republicans. In fact, the Democrats are so inept that one has to question if they are tacitly in accordance with republican actions and simply trying not to attach their name to what they apparently are happy with. Cowards.
Trump is repulsive and the worst of beings, and so anyone with an inkling of likability doesn't want a thing to do with him, leaving the bottom of the barrel, the dregs of humanity to choose from. Which means we get the absolute worst people heading all of these agencies and postings.

Tony, this had me for a second. I was scrolling and saw the headline briefly, thought (with hope), then saw the article's age, and my hope faded. But then I asked myself if I was that bad a person. And now I feel guilty, because that hope was real.
