Saw Close Encounters in the theater, too, but did not wait in line next to anyone famous. Can't remember what the first live-action movie I saw in the theater was. Maybe Bedknobs and Broomsticks? Saw Bullitt in a little theater with wood seats on Block Island but a few years after it came out.
Wow! Respect. Probably worth it to see Raquel Welch in that outfit on the big screen. If only IMAX had existed.
