This is the 10:27 bus from North Walsham to Norwich. Parts of rural Norfolk are served by this excellent service. Every 30 minutes. The bus is already full. Shows that good regular public transport has a bright future if it's properly funded and well run.

Nice email from Tim Roca MP today about Avanti's reply to him about cycle parking at Macc station. They don't plan on doing anything beyond "keeping an eye on it". I don't have much hope that they will reinstate the bike space that they have removed. Poor.
Reported all these to CEC and also wrote to local Ward Councillors.
This just looks like a poorly implemented bad idea to me. Don't they just fill up with crap? And aren't they likely to be unusable in some icy/snowy weather?

There's also a tendency of the MSM to imply that what happens in London is typical of cyclists across the country. I suspect that London is an outlier in respect of cycling behaviour.
