With #7 Purdue's win over #2 Nebraska, there have now been 8 #1/2 seeds in the Big Ten Tourney that have lost in their opening game since it expanded to 14 teams in 2015.
Obviously, it's not like an 8/9 seed beating a 1 seed in the NCAA tournament, but still impressive how frequently it happens.

Of course, it helps that last year was their first time playing on Thursday since it expanded to 14 teams. They were the only B1G team to never play on Thursday of the BTT (thanks to 2020 BTT being canceled) since it expanded.
Really puts Purdue's consistency over a decade into perspective.
With today's win, Purdue remains the only B1G team to play on Friday in every B1G Tournament since it expanded to 14 teams in 2015 (excluding the 2020 COVID cancellation).

I remember when they finally earned a winning record against OSU my freshman year in 2010. Obviously Purdue had a few down years after JJ and ET, but these last few years should have been the chance to build on that winning record. Instead, back to being 0.500.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Rondale Moore died Saturday evening, the Floyd County coroner confirmed. Moore was 25 years old.
An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday, and the death is currently being investigated.
