I heard Country Joe and the Fish many times in Berkeley during Vietnam War resistance days. Not much to the song, but we loved it. Iran could turn out to be the new Vietnam. Is military draft a real possibility?

I'm probably attending mystic mashup Indivisible's event, “De-Ice Citizen's Bank” - very close to where I live. March 7 at 11:00 am, Davis Sq Somerville.

I'm the old son of an English teacher, which I guess is why I'm bothered by lie/lay errors I encounter when reading poems in journals I'm thinking about submitting to. It's not unusual, and I have to assume the editors don't know or don't care. It is a deterrent to submission.

A DOJ source says FBI agents found the woman who accused Trump of sexually assaulting her as a child to be credible:

"They would not have interviewed her four times if they thought she was lying."

The White House position is that it is no big deal that Putin is helping Iran try to kill US soldiers.

Always remember rule #1. Putin can do no wrong in Trump’s eyes.

Scary thing I’m thinking is that, if Trump gets stuck on this idea, he may decide nuclear weapons are required. Would anyone stop him?

So Trump rolls out the red carpet for Putin, protects Putin, bullies the Ukrainians for Putin, and in return Putin helps Iranians kill Americans.

Trump must act now or the case for him being a Russian asset of some type will be undeniable.

I remember how, at the beginning of the pandemic, Trump wouldn’t let passengers off the Covid cruise ship because he didn’t want US covid numbers to go up by even that much.
