Q: Are you looking for us to arrange the merch ourselves or simply design it?
A: All I'm asking for from merch designers is to design it! I have experiance with manufacturing and can help format files and will arrange all of the making of.
Q: How are writers and artists paired up?
A: Unless someone expresses specific interest once contributors are announced and writers start discussing their ideas, it will be otherwise at random to make sure each writer has an even team
If you lack confidence for a page piece without your own OC idea, thats where spot art might suit you! Our spot artists will work alongside our writers to put illustrations to their pieces rather than working independently
Q: I don't have a specific OC already for the zine
A: I know a lot of people will use the excuse to make pieces from the OC's, but it's not a prerequisite!
Contributors will be free to create original concepts within the theme for their pieces.
And check ins can be done via email as well.
Due to the nature of the project, there won't be channels in server that end up locked behind age verification either.
While I understand concerns regarding Discord recently it does remain convenient for me to use & have that space for those who want it
Q: Will it be run through Discord?
A: Yes and No. There will be a Discord server for contributors to chat and it will make it easier for writing/spot artists to communicate but absolutely not necessary. All important information will be emailed to those who wish to not be part of the server,
All accepted contributors will submit a pitch/idea anyway so specifics and concerns will be discussed during creation
Q: Will X or Y concept count?
A: Probably! I'm probably going to run a bit fast and loose with specifics as long as it matches the theme. I want to let people show off their creativity and original work, and want to allow for variety in pieces.
Q: Is traditional art accepted?
A: As long as you have a way to scan it in/upload it at decent quality absolutely!
We've had traditional artists contribute previously and are always thrilled to see a variety of mediums and styles

Infernal Heritage had stuff like creation myths, anatomy and biology explorations, a look into pacts/curses etc
But I don't really plan on restricting other than steering away from smut and heavy/gorey stuff.
I always want to see what people are willing to create when given the chance!
Q: Is there a theme to the book beyond original divine characters? Like, are you looking to tell any specific stories or anything?
A: I'm not looking for specific stories! And I'm open to most pitches.
As a spiritual successor to Infernal Heritage people could go a similar route (cont.)

Q: Would it be possible for a writer and artist to team together to create pieces that are paired? e.g. the artist makes a piece based on the characters written about
A: The plan is our writers will be working with spot artists who will create accompanying art!
Q: Is there going to be some kind of editor working with the writers?
A: There's not going to be a specific editor, but other contributors (and friends) can help with things like beta reading
Despite how it appears this is a casual leaning project and I am happy to trust contributors
