Parkin time!
Parkin time!
The fondant bit is almost worse than the chocolate.
Give me a @marmite sandwich any day.
Dairy Milk is horrible now.
Pity about the windfall though.
Q: In life generally, am I someone who bears a grudge?
A: Just a bit.
I stopped listening to #thearchers the day after they killed Nigel.
Never gone back.
For the record, that was in January 2011 and I had been listening since 1976.
Thank you.
Marmite on toast, and binge watching Blue Bloods on Christmas Day is an absolutely acceptable way to spend the 25th, thankfully.
Plus, I have magnificent friends.
I have had flu for a week so havenβt done any Christmas food shopping. A kind friend bought essentials for me yesterday (milk and satsumas). I will happily be eating marmite on toast on Christmas Day, if I can get out of bed by then.
What a lovely thing to say.
Thank you.
I hope you enjoy the last quarter of it. β€οΈ
Re-upping for #RemembranceDay
It is. Acid with knobs on!
A half knitted sock on top of a couple of research books and a notebook.
At Moniack Mhor for 5 days.
Research is occurring, alongside a bit of second-sock knitting.
Iβll look out for it.
Current favourite shop is Ginger Twist Studio at Abbeyhill.
A riot of colour and textiles.
Ooooh!
This is good news.
Do you know the one on Marchmont Road?
This is excellent news.
I saw this notice too, yesterday.
Are you going?
Ah.
I havenβt looked on a laptop yet.
The mobile optimisation seems off. Not just the heading, I mean.
Images are skewed to the left.
This is an iPhone 15 running iOS 18.5
Festival Theatre is (roughly) on the same site now.
Have you seen the footage?
Astonishing.

They seem to have been around for 85 years, but the cemetery was opened in 1889.
I looked into it when I was writing 25 Library Terrace but found it hard to get a definite answer.
Itβs owned by Abercorn Funeral Services.

Piershill Cemetery is private, not Council.
I thought it was the Council too, but Iβm not sure thatβs the case.

Postally they were still Balerno, Midlothian in the 1980βs.
I think Kirknewton was too.
Thatβs interesting. Thank you.
Did the 44 not come out as far as Balerno?
Thank you.
Thank you Claire. β€οΈ
A paperback copy of 25 Library Terrace.
This is my new book.
It was published last week.
Itβs got some nice reviews already. amzn.eu/d/cEFMXkO
