Three things I donβt play about.
1. My daughter
2. My dreams
3. Punch the monkey. Let that baby in! π₯Ήπ

βPart of Your Worldβ was one of my ABSOLUTE favorite Disney songs as a kid. As an adult, I giggle at βbet they donβt reprimand their daughters.β HahahahaHAHAHAHA girl go ahead and stay in the ocean.
Still hearing "pause." It's "no homo" recycled. Can it be retired forever please? It's anyways been stupid, and will always be stupid.
I loved the halftime show. It gave me the same high I got watching In The Heights. I'm not Latina, I'm just a basic little Filipina and I loved the Bad Bunny performance. I just love watching people love themselves.
Sometimes Alexa will say "Hm. I can't find a song by that name by the Carters. Here's another song you might like." And then it'll play the song. That it couldn't find. Alexa doing everything not to say the word.
Anyway, this is snow day number 2 in my household. Be safe everyone!
It's hilarious listening to her use the tablet to say "Alexa, play Apeshit by The Carters Beyonce" (bc even she knows it's really just Beyonce) and the speaker say "Here's Ape*** by The Carters." Our Alexa is too scandalized by the title not to bleep herself out.
My daughter uses an AAC tablet to communicate, and one of her current obsessive songs is Apeshit by The Carters (which is just BeyoncΓ© featuring Jay-Z). She loves BeyoncΓ© in general but that song has her in a chokehold.
Shoveled the car out yesterday and again today. My back. It hurts. π© I'm on strict bedrest with wine and fiction podcasts for the next 24 hours.
I want a freeform murder mystery dinner party for my next birthday. Everyone dresses up, a "victim" is chosen, and everyone dramatically accuses each other of murder until the case is solved. Food! Wine! Fake cigarettes! Dramaaaaaa.... π³ππ½ ππΌπ§
πͺπͺπͺ It's all good now. π€
I just had to rough it up a lil bit. We've come to an understanding.
βπ½βπ½Wait WAIT hold on hold on - we're good, we're good. π
The NERVE. I don't deserve this! π
New Years Day is coming to an end, and we go back to work tomorrow.
2026, you will give me rest or riches, or I'm putting sugar in your tank ISTG.
A screenshot of the word "sloppy," which is NOT the word I would have chosen for 2026. 2025 was exhausting. This year cannot afford to be sloppy.
Excuse me?
Agh! Sorry. π I've got a crack in my windshield that I'll have to fix before my next inspection, among many other things.
My wish for you in the new year is a big windfall. Enough to throw it all in the air and roll in it. π°ππ½
Moon projected onto a hallway ceiling with green stars.
The kiddo got her annual star projector this year. π€
Annual because she broke the one she got last year and asked for a new one. She also broke the cheaper one she got the year before that. βπ½π Holiday Traditions ππ€π½
Thank you Bel!
Doing the role announcement thing, but for theater. It's me and Flying V!
One of my favorite experiences has been working with the Midnight Burger crew and being Tamara. ππ½Throw your demo at them RIGHT NOW!
Ah perfect! Also lemme go to your website real quick.
...Whoa. You are formidable. ππ
I love that! Throw it on your about page, the people should know the real Meredith. ππ½
π Yes yes YES!
Things like this remind me of the advice given to people who point at actors who seemingly "came out of nowhere." If you check, those actors are almost always many years in, they just weren't in bigger media. Overnight success can be nice, but it's inspiring to know hard work can be rewarded, too.
Shannon Dorsey, three-time Helen Hayes award nominated actor, told me I need more audacity. Noted.
The world is about to see me.
Catch me as Maine Haden in part one of @shadowsatthedoor.bsky.social's "To the Flame!" All three parts are out now. ππ½
Egh. Same. I think the energy that I used to put into reading was redirected to fiction podcasts. My nerd fixation was updated for new media. People who are avid listeners AND prolific readers are like prodigies to me.
Point Pleasant WV: a town wrapped in folklore & smiles. But beneath the welcome mats & festival flyers, something ancient is stirring... And itβs already watching Dr Troughton.
