Some interesting results on our "popular games" section today! I doubt this will still happen once sync is open to everyone. But still an interesting insight into our beta users (about 3k people).

It’s a stopgap for now. European can mean too many things to too many people (like a Danish copy is European) but we intend to handle more regions more explicitly in the future
3/ The biggest parts left to release sync to the public are a better collection landing page and the ability to set allow/deny lists (by default your data is all private and unshareable).
2/ No batch adding or editing, no reports, no backlog on the website yet. But if you are a sync beta user, your edits on the site will sync back to your mobile app.
1/ 5.08.00 out for both Android and iOS! The update pushes massive cart scanner improvements particularly for Android -- iOS could still be tighter but works like a champ.
For sync, we are getting extremely close. You can now add and edit items on the website, though a bit clunky atm.
I'm live! It's time to get all my games sorted and cataloged!
Were using @gameyevg.bsky.social for this project!

We've got a dedicated front-end dev who is a wizard and finally taking us across the finish line for sync being released to the public! 2 more screens and it's ready! (Yes night mode will be default). You can see collection and hltb data finally being displayed all nice-like lol
“Finished the game using period accurate tools” has definitely made me feel old lol
We are SO EXCITED to finally show you Xcavator 2025! This is an unreleased (and unannounced!) NES game from 1991 that we recovered from its source code. The rights to it were 100% donated to us, and it's being published as a fundraiser cartridge to support our work!
Shows currently popular collected items for GAMEYE beta testers that have access to website sync. Kirby Air-Riders, Metroid 4, Hades II, Hyrule Warriors, Expedition 33, Pokemon Z-A, Zelda, Princess Peach Showtime!
In terms of our beta-testers (~2k), only Expedition 33 is a hotly collected item outside of Nintendo's offerings. I can't wait to see the kinds of interesting details we can show once everyone can sync with the website!

Hell ya
Awesome!
How’d it go?
@gameyevg.bsky.social just got a new user! Gonna spend the next few hours scanning in and reorganizing my collection.
Glad to hear it!
Did it resolve?
What does the date say on the prices in the detail view? 10/24?
Are you on the beta?
Makes me happy when people use it!
It’s so when you sell or trade something you can still keep track of it, including how much you paid and sold it for! Or notes for history
Yes that’s sync!

Can anyone figure out what the next feature is (while we all patiently wait for sync) coming to mobile devices based on this very subtle image?
Anytime!
It was a dupe. Click on and remove the “the” in the title to link it back to the surviving entry
Just for you, our followers: some high-resolution Gex we got off the press CD we just digitized
Ya if I do do anything thatd be it. But i really hate adding toggles ha. Hard to come up with a good word for that one. “Full text on 4 grid mode” isn’t great
Tbh i don’t think thatll be changed anytime soon :(
I know you’re aware but in the 3 grid mode it has full text
It’s a space issue. We tried to change it so in 4 grid mode that it just showed the completeness symbol (instead of CIB or whatever) on Android and you would not believe the backlash lol
Anytime!
