"It is beyond contestation that we are prioritizing investments for an aging population at a scale of urgency that makes what we're doing for younger people seem absolutely miniscule," -Dr. Paul Kershaw www.cbc.ca/news/politic...
We always love the feedback, good or bad!
Thanks for the support! It's sometimes rough out here but the last 6 months have been fantastic! So much support for our plan to fix OAS! We're so encouraged by it! Hard to ignore the inefficient spending when it looks like this:
Seems ageist to us..... action.gensqueeze.ca/fix_oas
We agree Isaiah! And we've got a "Fix OAS" campaign going that is gaining BIG support across Canada. Have you signed on yet? $14billion/year in savings if we simply ask households with $100K/year income to take a bit less. Let us know what you think! action.gensqueeze.ca/fix_oas

Yes, our critics are loud but are supporters are louder! The truth is the % of people who would see their OAS payments decrease are a minority (see the 20% in blue)! The vast majority would either see no change to their OAS (pink) or would be sent enough $$ to be lifted out of poverty (yellow)!
We'd love to add you to our growing list of seniors showing intergenerational solidarity! 2 things you can do to help: Email us if you want to participate in our video project (info@gensqueeze.ca) AND sign our "Fix OAS" support page: action.gensqueeze.ca/fix_oas
