I'm currently reverse engineering the interior design of the Casita from Encanto so I can create a toy version at a specific scale.

Wilds had a massive launch! If pre-launch marketing was much better than previous titles I'd expect fewer sales right after preorders. Many of those customers who would have found out about a new MH title post-launch already heard about Wilds because of the broader pre-launch campaign.
Hopefully this adds some useful context to community conversations!

If anyone is or knows a graphic designer open to freelance work, ideally within the MH community, please shoot me a message. Looking for someone to do layouts on printed documents, basic image editing, etc.
The modern world is too full of accessible entertainment options for me to understand anyone who spends time and energy angry about one of them. Why not spend those resources on something you would enjoy instead?
Stories 3 is the most original MH plot yet. The catastrophe was 200 years ago instead of 100.

Pre-ordering monster hunter finger puppets from Japan so that I can (hopefully) convert them to be compatible with a particular brand of kid's toy that my daughter enjoys (and I may or may not be obsessively documenting). Yup, that's me.
I went through the history and it's been almost a year since we first cooked up this idea. Most of that time has been heads down, testing and iterating to make sure that we could make something worthwhile.

Break the cycle: Don't get caught up in what feels like everyone thinking something when it's just a few thousand loud online people. Accept that other people exist and have other preferences.
They preserve a self image of absolute knowledge by concluding that everyone else is either an idiot or shares their opinions. A new product releases, the cycle repeats, and they lament how everyone else could be so dumb as to enjoy an objectively bad thing.
Online communities are bubbles that aren't representative of product audiences. This dissonance is proven by the popularity and commercial success of things the communities will tell you are horrible.

Anything with a red star, as well as the New World and Eastland locations, are based on speculation.
The patch notes are so extensive. It isn't talk when Tokuda says they're continuing to iterate and improve the game systems, and the video barely scratched the surface of the world they did since the last update. This is dedication and passion for their creation.

Swappable handlers and support hunters feels like the straight up optimal game design solution to people hating certain NPCs.
