as @demongrrl.gay can attest, I hurry endings of big projects because I can *finally* see the end. Then we have to go back and fill out the details.
The important thing is seeing the road. You can always tidy up in the edits.
Plus, very gay. π
Been rewatching Disenchanted with the kids (first time for them)
Itβs very uneven and not always great and the intro music is unlistenable
BUT
Bean is one of the best princess characters ever and I will die on this hill.
Itβs okay to hurry sometimes when youβre drafting
but if you catch yourself hurrying your edits, take a step back. Take a break. Slow your roll.
I have long gone by "La tisserande" online, shortened to "La Tis" for username purposes, and most people tended to pronounce it "Lettuce". It stuck.
Das habe ich nicht gewusst!
read a bit more of this today. Cyberpunk in the Twin Cities "nobody survives winter alone."

Anakin meme: You guys go back to your bookmarks right?
I read some more of 1,000 Lotuses, which is so godsdamned charming!
Also the lesbianism has begun to emerge. π
When I clicked to reply, it said post not found. Then it came up on my tl π
Anyway my clever reply was:

Gods I love not having a website. Itβs so freeing. I know it wonβt last forever, but Iβm enjoying it while it lasts.

βWhat is a woman?β
1. A personβs gender is completely irrelevant except to themself, their close friends and family, & sometimes their doctor
2. A woman is who she says she is
Absolutely sickening shit: the Dena had just participated in international naval exercises *with the US* and was unarmed and the US knew this and sank it anyway and left the survivors to drown
Many such cases
On the other hand, I respect her game. Sheβs worked really hard and edited the living shit out of that book (didnβt get an R&R). She has the knowledge and experience for blogging around her book topic and has lots of contacts. She doesnβt love social media but sheβll figure it out.
Rather than indulge the worst people in rehashing old TV shows and toy commercials, check out something new and inventive by your finest independent Gender Weirdos
A mostly offline friend of mine just got an agent after 5 years of querying!
She now has to make a website, get active on social media, & start blogging (her book is a fictionalized historical biography)
Iβm so happy for her! Though I donβt envy her playing catch-up.
Somewhere in the world right now
someoneβs being born
someoneβs dying
someoneβs back is arched in pleasure
someoneβs reading a book & smiling
someoneβs reading & crying
someoneβs serving rice & beans to their family
someoneβs eating a meal that costs more than that family makes in a year
