Let’s talk about yesterday’s House War Powers Resolution vote.
This is not the best part of the firing, but it’s in the Top 10.
Today's abysmal jobs report is a reminder that tax cuts for corporations and the rich don’t create jobs or grow the economy.
What's required is investment in working people — and better wages.
When workers have money to spend, the economy grows and businesses create more jobs.
Remember this.
Bye, Felicia.
Let me be clear: I’m glad Kristi Noem was fired. But we still have to abolish ICE.
The US and Iran have obviously not been at war for 47 years, as regime propagandists tell us. What has been going on for 47 years is the Saudi-Iranian regional proxy war. So the propaganda defines us as a Saudi proxy state.
What would you like to see the Democratic Party do? As a Democratic Precinct Committee Person you get a vote on county party positions and leaders. You have the opportunity to advocate with others at the local, state and federal level. 🧵

I love Dems who put the good of their constituents ahead.of their ego. Thank you @jasmineforus.bsky.social for all you have done for us, and for all you will do!!!
U.S. military spending is set to hit a record $1.5 trillion.
Roughly half of defense spending goes to private contractors that routinely price-gouge the government.
Meanwhile, the Pentagon has failed EIGHT straight audits.
The military industrial complex is cheering today.
The morally bankrupt Trump administration has partnered with another morally bankrupt authoritarian to declare an unprovoked war on Iran, already killing scores of civilians.
We need an immediate vote from Congress on a War Powers Resolution. Then articles of impeachment.
@hillaryclinton.bsky.social: "I don't understand why it's so difficult for the press to have a consistent narrative about how dangerous Trump is."
Just saying, but when people are trying to do everything they can to prevent you from voting, that’s when you absolutely need to vote.
Ready to make this the biggest midterm turnout in history?
This is amazing.

Great job by everybody who let their state reps know a $550M tax break for the biggest corporations in the world shouldn’t have been part of an historic income tax bill.
This was a fight, and working Washingtonians won.
Don't forget the second and third richest men own YouTube through Google.
We used to have anti-trust laws to prevent this kind of media consolidation. A Republican president championed anti-trust. He also championed public lands and the Nat'l Parks.
Teddy Roosevelt wouldn't even recognize the GOP.
Me too.
During the marathon campaign rally that Trump called his SOTU speech, he "unveiled" a proposal for the federal government to provide matching contributions of up to $1,000 per year to the retirement accounts of low-wage earners.
It's a great idea. It is also already a law signed by Biden in 2022.
If another country suspects that Americans have drugs on their boat are they allowed to blow it up and kill everyone too, or are only we allowed to do that?
Millions of workers — including at Walmart, Amazon, & McDonald’s — rely on food stamps, WIC, and Medicaid, because pay doesn’t cover basics. Corporate profits soar while taxpayers pick up the bill. Low wages aren’t just a worker issue — they’re a taxpayer subsidy to big business.
Had dinner with freinds to avoid SOTU and i get in the car, and JayZus the fool is still whining about something.
Sorry NPR, I switched over to Bruno Mars
Spot on!
Accountability no matter who!
The next time Democrats have to do a filibuster they should read selected portions of the Epstein files.
STEWART: “So just to be clear - Trump is on the brink of war with Iran to either obliterate the nuclear program he previously ‘obliterated’, or to force them into signing a deal like the one HE PULLED OUT OF — it’s all in Chapter 9 of Art of the Deal: Eating Your Own Asshole.”
Seriously, if your pastor wanted to help the poor, as Jesus instructs, he cou;d sell one of his houses.
If the minstry has a private jet, it doesn't need your money.
If God wants your mega-church pastor to have a private jet, why doesn't he just reach down and give him one for free. Why do you have to give your hard-earned money to the pastor so he can buy one? Does God want you to be poor?
JFC, who can keep track of it all?
My K-30 Agenda builds more homes, lowers costs, and provides real pathways for people just starting out.
We are the laughingstock of the world because of our moronic and psychotic president. Deservedly so.
