Scummy.
Scummy.
In the trailer for Up, Carl said "So Long, Boys!" And then raspberries. But in the actual movie, he said, "So Long, Boys! I'll send you a postcard from Paradise Falls" Does anybody remember that growing up?
Until we hear Adrian Molina's side of the story, I don't wanna hear what anyone has to say about what went down on Elio, and quite frankly, I'm done caring.
I love this movie for what it is, and I wish it could be as simple as that.
You say Pixar is dead? I say neigh!
He badly phrased how he didn't know that people existing was considered therapy.
Daniel Chong has shared a new 2D animation test for βHOPPERSβ
β’ Created 6 years ago when the film was in early development.
β’ Animation by Lorenzo Fresta.
And it was confirmed by Ducktales (2017) co-creator Frank Angones that Bushroot's zombie-like appearance in the episode "Let's Get Dangerous!" was confirmed to be directly influenced by the Darkwing Duck episode "Twin Beaks" PRECISELY because of how traumatizing it was.
Yes, this is a triumph for original movies. If you market them properly, people will come to see them.

Pixarβs βHoppersβ has earned $88 MILLION in its worldwide box office opening weekend.
The biggest opening for an original animated film since βCocoβ in 2017.
He said that "people existing was considered therapy".
But look at how badly phrased the way he said it.
There's bad timing and bad phrasing, and there's BOTH at the same time. I mean, even by RaisorBlade's standards, is he serious with this?
The problem is that Raisor terribly phrased what Pete Docter said. So what Raisor said could've been taken out of context.
While Pete Docter did say something stupid, RaisorBlade managed to sink himself lower by saying something like this.
Well there is a darker and grittier reboot in 2011, but nobody paid attention to it.
Clownfish TV. Isn't that rhe YouTube Channel that has their thumbnails look like AI vomited on them violently l?
The toys ambushing Sid.
The creepy bird.
The cymbal monkey.
The ventriloquist dummy minions.
For any criticism you could make of Pixar, they certainly have tried to be scary at times.
So Pixar ruined animation by elevating animated features to a whole new level?
Where is this guy getting information from?
And yet Sony Pictures Animation cancelled Matt Braly and Rebecca Sugar's movie because they couldn't find a way to make it marketable.
Wait, what?
Disney Animation has a 100 year history of each decade having the highest of highs and lowest of lows.
And by the way, the same people who praised KPop and attack Elio went on to slam a movie made from the same studio that made KPop, Fixed, because they donβt cater to their taste. Which is fine if itβs not your cup of tea, but going after the people who worked on the film is not.
It's funny because Elio was going to be released in March 2024 before it gor reworked.
I think Pixar should use the early March slot for their originals going forward. It gives them more breathing room plus positive word of mouth would go a long way with all the spring breaks across the country. They can keep mid-June for the sequels since they're guaranteed hits.
Thanks.

Imagine that, a toom right under their noses and they didn't know that.
