I’m kind of heartbroken bc this car was my late aunt’s, she gave it to me before she passed away. I was really close with her and this car felt like my last tangible piece of her. I really hope it’s salvageable but I’m coming to terms with the high possibility that it won’t be.

A memorial piece for my late friend, we are wearing the clothes we picked out together the last time we saw each other, I am attempting to chase Charlie through a field into heaven as they have their back turned to the light with their hand out stretched toward mine which is reaching for them. The space between us is great, Charlie is slightly transparent the closer they are to the light, between us are the words “so far away” the colors as the piece goes to the right, on my side, are meant to be more representative of earth and their heavenly glow only surrounds the parts of me closest to them, and it is not nearly as bright on myself as I won’t actually be able to join them. The piece is inspired by the song “so far away” by avenged sevenfold
