This Saturday, 3/22, UMP will be starting at 1pm at UCIMC (upstairs in the main area, not the makerspace) as part of the CUDO Plays Grand Exhibition! We'll be joining folks unveiling new board games they've worked hard on for months, offering riichi as a complementary event. Don't miss this one!

Yesterday was an incredible night. We had 4 tables running simultaneously, and our friend from The Yakumen visited and brought his autotable with him for us to play on. (Thank you Brendan! ๐) Multiple people also showed up to learn to play as well!

What a fantastic weekend. SO many people showed up to play and learn riichi! Thanks so much to our volunteers, to UICon staff, but ESPECIALLY to all the congoers who came to play. ๐
Our normal meetups will resume in the mahjong pit next Saturday and I hope we see some new faces there!

Only a little over 24 hours until UI-Con starts! The con runs 10am-11pm Saturday and 10am-6pm Sunday and registration is $5. We're looking forward to bringing the mahjong pit to the games room starting at noon both days.
The Mahjong Pit will not be meeting at the IMC Saturday 3/1 because we're going to be at UICon in the games room from 12pm-5pm Saturday and Sunday. We WILL be meeting as scheduled tomorrow in the IMC from 4pm until 10pm (or later!).
We'll be running riichi tables this weekend from 12pm - 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Come play with us! I can't wait to see everyone this weekend. ๐
