Here’s some sketches exploring one of my ideas for the creature from “The Terror” by Dan Simmons, and how I imagined it could work as a supernatural element while still able to be mistaken for a polar bear at a glance or in the distance~
...how would you go about designing a werefolf mothfolk? Like I get the normal and even turned form, but what do you do with hybrid form?? I legit have no time to take this on but I just can't stop thinking about it

An experimental illustration I did for uni, a bit more painterly than my usual style (I'm trying to diversify).
Fun fact: Rain World is my all time favorite game ever, I'm very normal about it (which is why I have to tell people that I am)

Okay, I finally have a uni project that motivates me to use social media, so there's gonna be a lot of work in progress drops! We're doing a comic anthology, and I'm grouped up with some cool people, so very awesome stuff!

Spending a lot of time writing a campaign setting at the moment. I have trouble juggling multiple hyperfixations, so art might be little scarce for a little while more. My apologies to anyone that folows me for drawings specifically, i will have some sketches and other tidbits to post soon :3

Most of the body structure is that of a rat, but it has tiny deformed wing-like appendages on its back, and the skin on its face stops a bit early, exposing a bone beak. Its right ear is torn, some skin on its tail is missing, showing bone there as well, and its front paws is visibly sewn on. The creature's fur is purple-tinted grey and black, and the only eye visible from the angle it's portrayed from is a deep pink.

A reference sheet of an anthropomorphic arctic fox. There are two fullbody drawings: a little less fluffy and with darker colors on the left, being the summer coat, and a fluffier and very light-colored one on the right, being the winter coat. In the left drawing the character is wearing dark and desaturated burgundy boots and shirt with the symbol of a sun on the chest, an orange skirt and shoal, red pants and hood, and a brown belt and shoulder bag. The hood, shoal and skirt have yellow tassels lining the edges. The right drawing is mostly the same, but the character also has a warm cloak over his shoulders, colored like the shirt, and is holding up a lit metal lantern. The right side of the reference has the name "Oen" written in medieval-styled lettering.
The same reference as the first image, but with all clothes and additional items removed to show the fox's coat coloration and patterns.
