I miss him too. He was arguably the most talented of that little crew. And the fact that he looked like a swole Daniel Radcliffe always amused me

Free HK movie download- BULLET FOR HIRE (1991): Another Simon Yam "Heroic Bloodshed" movie for you all. Here, Yam plays a veteran hitman mentoring a novice played by Jacky Cheung (BULLET IN THE HEAD). This one has never had an official release outside of Asia. Download link in the replies.

Ebola syndrome slander?! Not as good??!
It’s all set by the website I linked to
Anyone can
Anyone can do them. You just need an account on www.themoviedb.org.
“I’m gonna make sure you are financially secure and creatively independent and there’s nothing you can do about it!” *drops a butterfly net on David Finlay’s head*
God I hate modern comic coloring styles.
It really was. But I thought that back then too. The only wrestling game for the NES better than WCW was, of course, “Pro Wrestling” which WCW’s game was really similar too. And how great is that WCW character select screen? Beautiful.
They were the coolest. They even still seem like that to me, especially that specific era from the game ad
Brogan Finlay is unpolished enough that NXT with his dad watching out for him is actually a good place to be. The Fed trying to stick David there is just them trying to “Ricky Starks” him
He went through the true NJPW dojo and was deemed polished enough that he got to skip the excursion aspect of the training and go straight to NJ’s roster. Considering his family ties to the ‘E, getting a strict offer of “NXT or go fuck yourself” is pretty disrespectful to a worker of his stature
Over at OLD NEW I wrote about the best film of 2026 so far, Yuen Woo-ping's Blades of the Guardians: oldnew.substack.com/p/wuxia-wisd...
Never ever. I have seen, first hand, some real horror stories in my day job
Hope you dig them 🙂
He never did have a one like that &that’s a shame. The closest is my “My Father is a Hero” but his persona was so steely at the time. I’d love to see him do something light like that in this current phase of his life. He has an innate “cuteness” that has rarely been capitalized on to any real extent
He’s not really. Though he likes sci-fi shows that are similar in tone to the ones Apple TV puts out. He also likes those Sheridan dad shows on Paramount. I think the trailer is intentionally targeting non-comic fans
I dunno. I can only use my dad as an example, who wouldn’t know Hal Jordan from HAL 9000. He saw the trailer and said, “you seen this Kyle Chandler sci fi/western thing? Looks interesting.”
If that works, lmk 👀
Considering all the other Gunn-overseen stuff has been unapologetically “comic book-y,” I bet this teaser is withholding a lot.
Apparently they quit because TNA refused to clear SDL despite the fact that she saw the same doctors WWE uses and they said she was good to go.
my project taking a month-by-month look at the action movies released in 1991 and 2026 continues with a look at February -- Feb 1991 had big new John Woo and Jackie Chan movies as well as box office hits in India, France, and the Philippines pvguide.ghost.io/back-in-acti...
Surviving for another day to prove the bastards wrong is very punk rock, in my opinion. And also, yes- respectfully.
Found my new favorite restaurant.
Imagine that poor soul who starts those early episodes and decides somebody like Jimmy Havoc or Nakazawa is "their guy."
Portland tapes are scarce. Where did you get the footage? IVP?
It’s one of his few “actually good” films.
There was. I never read it though.
