If the US poured support into Ukraine to give them the tools and resources to drive Russia out quickly, it would free up Ukraine’s capacity nicely to supply interceptors to them and middle-eastern states and the profits could drive Ukraine’s reconstruction.
So, sometimes there’s a good reason why previous governments haven’t done something: because it’s a really bad idea that makes things worse rather than better. It’s a lesson Shabana Mahmood seems determined to relearn.
