This is finally the generation where I decide to only pay attention to people who play the Pokemon series of Video Games when discussing the Pokemon Series. I’m SOO tired of people just saying the most buzzwordy things they can to start a genuine spiral of negative discourse.

I’m honestly just going to start ignoring people who say mid; is there anything more unhelpful and time wasting than calling something mid. just wait a full 10 seconds and let your brain form a thought. No one’s forcing you to form an opinion 3 seconds after you see a new Pokemon design.
and why do they think getting rid of Fast Travel all together is a good thing? Outer Worlds limits it to just your ship which I feel is a great compromise, but just ELIMINATING a time saving feature??? do they get PAID to waste my time??,, oh wait,,,..,,
Fallout 4’s feels modded in, there is no metric for sleep food or water it’s just like a timer, and the fact that taking Stimpacks lowers all of them significantly really makes them useless. And don’t even think about using RadAway to undo all the rads from eating food you need to eat.
Skyrim and Fallout 4 competing for who has the most uselessly trivial and bullshit Survival Mode, while New Vegas has one that makes the game so fun and rewarding I never play without it

Finally finished ZA entirely, everything post the Lysandre Labs was actually dope, but I think the final boss fight is representative of my issues with the game as a whole: a Lot of busywork repetition and grinding without much feedback. But outside of that, very good! End really pulled it together!
these insane character designs and setup just deserved more attention in all honesty, less focusing on quirks or running gags and more on What They Do. which maybe i’m expecting too much from this baby’s game, but come on these bones are so strong and sturdy!!
I’m going to keep playing and maybe my opinions will change, but I just know i will be hard pressed to return to this game for future playthroughs. like I LOVE alola, which is often panned for its cutscenes, but ZA is like if those cutscenes never ended and there was no motivation for you to press A
It’s just irritating how it feels like season 8 of some CW tv show level of writing, because the characters and the core is so inviting and flashy, but it’s so unrewarding to just Play the video game.
and i LIKE the boss battles, they’re an improvement from the Arceus battles truly, and I LOVE capturing pokemon and shiny hunting. but my GOD this game drags on and on and then EXPLODES into story long after my patience has given way.
