We are a mixed group from all walks of life with different views, but we leave them at the door so we can concentrate on developing an X11 display server. Our two basic principles are:

Could you please provide a source for your claim that the creator of XLibre was banned for submitting breaking patches to Xorg?
We are currently working closely with the ghostbsd.org maintainers to fix the remaining minor bugs and get their 26.01 release out.

Xfce 4.20 running on XLibre
#Xfce will keep #X11 compatibility for the foreseeable future besides their work on their Xfwl4 #Wayland compositor. That's stated at wiki.xfce.org/releng/wayla... and still holds true as verified with some Xfce developers. We're happy to provide an X11 server to run Xfce on. #XLibre

The #Vendefoul Wolf #Linux maintainers recently introduced their #Viriato series based on #Devuan 7 Freia. They ship both #XLibre and #Xorg as well as the #KDE and #SonicDE desktop environments. You can download the testing ISO at vendefoul-wolf-linux.sourceforge.io . Look for "Devuan 7".

Yes, it's wild. When we talk about X, we also sometimes ask ourselves, "Which one? Theirs or ours?" ;-)
