Veterans benefits as well, my dad is a Vietnam Vet and finally getting some sort of acknowledgement via benefits now that he's older. I despise these people so much

I'm pretty sure you can change your W4 with your employer to claim exempt and not have federal taxes taken out of your check. I am not sure what the consequences of doing that without qualifying as exempt are.
