Baz Luhrmann’s Australia. Weird campy cliched bollocks that lasts for twelve hours too long, then ww2 starts and you realise you’re only 2/3 of the way through it. After watching it to completion I made the life-changing decision to become comfortable turning films off half-way through.

Everything bad happening in the world is unnecessary. There is enough for all of us. Countries don’t really exist, only humans. For the glory of imaginary lines and fake Gods, and crucially the enrichment of those who pursue that hollow glory.
