I think a lot of it had to do with how much the internet loves drama. I don’t think that game would’ve set the world on fire or anything but YouTube’s echo chambers went HARD on that game. People already had their minds made up that the game was dead a month before it even released.

I hop about every month. Sometimes I’m in the mood to tweak and poke things so I’ll run Cachy until I get my fill or break something. But I do in the mood where I just want things to run without any effort and flatpaks are king in that department.
Both fun either way.

Cachy and Bazzite are the 2 distros I’ve been hopping between. I like the idea of a somewhat centralized platform for developers and hobbies to focus on. SteamOS feels like it would carry that kind of weight but still letting us poke around without an over abundance of data harvesting.
