I have finished Resident Evil Requiem.

I really enjoyed it and it’s the first game I’ve played that actually legit gave me the creeps and scared me a few times.

I do however feel embarrassed for both Leon and Grace because I’m terrible at this kind of game 😭

How can I ever forget how wonderful Way Out West’s music is. Or how Waveform somehow elevated it from where it already was.

This reminds me; One of my favorite things in the early and mid 2000s Bay Area was sifting through the white labels in record shops for rare psytrance, breaks, and house mixes

SAME. God what a phenomenal experience to read that book for the first time. It was a huge inspo for my creative writing and art when I was younger. The interior art on the original printing so SO good too 😭

Spring is coming, so I treated myself with a piece some weeks ago about it

Outdoor scene in the summer, in a country garden in the 18th century: Richly dressed, well off people are sitting around a speaker, having tea. They're in the sunlight. There's a small dog with them who's just been released from the leash. They look at the speaker with interest, open to his words. Another group of 2 people is fully shaded by a tree, and their dog is on a leash. They seem very skeptical and unconvinced by what the speaker is talking about.

Age of Enlightenment

A lecture on freedom and equality in the 1770s. Here I used sunlight and shadow, as well as animals, to convey additional layers of metaphor. Commissioned for a history textbook.
