I got Aliexpress VIP curtains and made little Kirkland Signature strap covers. Theyβre cheap, but for $10 a pair vs $140 for legit Junction Produce, I donβt feel too bad.

Photoshoot with the homies after a memorial cruise for a friend.
Upgraded to staggered 18β wheels off a 2nd Gen IS350 so I can fit IS300 calipers. The Royal Saloon and other Crowns with 15β wheels have smaller brakes. Swapping in IS300 calipers makes future pad changes easier to get in the US, plus pads/rotors/calipers are cheaper than new rotors from Japan.

Did I finally go too far? ππ
The carabiner didnβt work out, it moved around too much and metal on metal is loud and clunky. Designed a tow hook mount, printed it, and screw it together. Itβs solid enough to keep the charm on, but can easily break with a screw driver if I need to use the tow hook.
Added an OEM-looking backup camera that uses part of the license plate light. Itβs made for the 100 series Land Cruiser but I made it fit with a little trimming to the filler panel.
I mean, why not? π
Iβm fully committed to this Costco fanboy bit. Made a drift charm to dangle from my tow hook, cuz thatβs what the kids are doing nowadays π
Clear taillight twinning with the homie
Printed using glass-like settings, which took 36 hrs to finish. The result is much better clarity with ~200 lux higher output
Recreated the taillight lenses on the Carry and 3D printed on PETG translucent. The turn signal has LED bulbs but the brake light is a regular halogen bulb, have red and amber LEDs on the way.
I woke up and chose violence with my coffee, aka Mario Kart World Online. However, got my first knockout win π
Qualcomm has a little SD display at Costco now, but itβs away from the regular Intel / Mac / Windows laptop displays. Thereβs still an SDX Surface on the regular Windows laptop display, so this is complimentary and to educate buyers on SDX
Was ok. Waffle was decent, chicken was average, hot honey wasnβt hot
4th Annual PNW Kei Ownerβs Meet-up was a success! We had 60+ Kei cars, trucks, and vans there, not counting the other JDM friends that showed up!

Car spotting while waiting in line for the Hello Kitty Cafe truck - Kia Borrego and Hyundai Equus
Itβs just an empty shell with a GPS Speedo glued in
I wonder if some of the devs were from the old Ford Simulator games
There also was less info and knowledge available on what other markets had. Gran Turismo changed that and opened the flood gates to all the JDM cars to many car enthusiasts, but it took a while for American game devs to even start putting JDM vehicles in games.
Itβs a Japanese Sega Saturn
Mystichrome is one of the best factory Colours offered on a car, anyone that thinks otherwise is simply wrong.
I forgot about that one, Iβll have to add it to the PS2
I miss the 90-00βs era of racing games with the most random car selection, when cars were curated by non car enthusiasts.
What a beauty.
Sony KV-8AD10. Same tube as the PVM.
Picked up a baby Trinitron that can run on 12V, Iβm ready for the summer car meet / show season www.instagram.com/reel/DKBP8L0...
We had two Paseos and two Tercels at Cars & Coffee today! Plus I spotted two of the two previous generation Tercels in someoneβs driveway on the way home. Must be a sign from the Tercel gods or something π€·ββοΈ
Picked up some cheap, chrome, flaking, GS430 stock wheels to see if I like how chrome looks on the Crown. I dig it. Now to get a job so I can pickup a set of Heritage Wheels Bushido MonoCβs
