Thank you! Ooo hadnβt thought of that. Itβs the same ethos too.
Thank you. Iβm pleased with how itβs come out :) worth losing the 2 itβs made from even π€ haha
π the best aunt!
So on Monday I came in to another pile of rubble.
However, I took a breath and realised that these vases are a metaphor for my larger project.
So I picked up the rubble and made something new.

You canβt beat a tea set. No matter what age!
Sand in.
Silicon top.
Thickened silicon spackle.
Final silicon pour.
Now to cure and add wood.

It sounds wonderful. And what a lucky niece. Thatβll be something to truly treasure β€οΈ
Iβll have to look into them :) itβs not a maker Iβve heard of before so thatβs very interesting! Thank you for sharing your knowledgeπ₯°
Thatβs very kind! Thank you.
Itβs interesting how tastes align isnβt it. My parents art is very much not my style either haha!
Thatβs so interesting. I had no idea you could syrup walnut! I knew birch βwaterβ was a thing. Thatβs great to know thank you for opening my eyes to an exciting new syrup world!
They look like top class waffles!
It sounds perfect.
We live in a pretty rubbish area for exciting foods so Iβll have to add it to my Birmingham/London list!
Youβre very welcome :)
Yorkshire pudding is most often not a pudding but is savoury. Though some people eat it with jam.
Traditional puddings had suet in them too so were more savoury. Itβs evolved.
But its all pretty much nonsense when you delve too deep π
I love to see the subtle difference in the patterns between makers. Spode revolutionised the transferware by perfecting the copper plate - tissue paper technique so itβs all over Stoke-on-Trent. Iβd love to see the American take on the oriental designs. As we have a very colonial British take.
It does and yes
We have specific puddings too. Like steamed puddings and sponge puddings. Iβm guessing you mean that chocolate jelly type pudding? Itβs not that common here though my Norwegian partner loves it and it took him and his mum a long time to get their head round pudding = any dessert.
Tis certainly a delicious savoury item to be sure. Mangoes are so different tasting depending where you are too. I lived in Sri Lanka for a while and struggled to start with as they were so ripe compared to the ones in the uk it was like eating perfume. Soon got over it though haha.
I know what you mean.
Iβm a 2 pancake person so it works well for me. One savoury. One sweet.
But couldnβt do more than that as it does get a bit much.
They sounds like absolutely acceptable and enticing things to have a love affair with.
We are in a time where people still arenβt quite aware what they are giving away and so I love hunting the charity shops too!
I agree they have to be used so you can enjoy them daily β€οΈ
I know what you mean. I do some work for Spode museum in Stoke and they have a room full of willow ware.
Are-are we finally on the home straight with this case mould? Is it possible? Please dear lord say it is true!
2 more painted layers tomorrow. Fill with sand. Add more silicone and wood. Slap whoever quoted Β£250 as we are already on Β£400 π€¬
Dare I say it?
Done π«£

We have a Nutella thief in our house that eats it by the jar with a spoon so itβs banned. (Itβs me, Iβm the thief)
Ok Iβm going roughly
A litre of beef stock
1 tbsp yeast
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp star anise
1 tbsp onion powder
1 stick lemon grass (removed before serving)
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Go crazy with the veggies. My other half says I add too many but I vehemently disagree.
Ahh bless him β€οΈ
Kids are adorable and yet so unintentionally savage at times haha. But we learn to roll with it. And throw a plain pancake across the table when needed π
Now you know. You can work your genie magic!
I was moving multiple piles of dirt into one pile of dirt π
Thank you! If only the kids would see that too ππ
I didnβt actually. It was an impulse Amazon buy years ago!
Sometimes you need a carbohydrate orgy!
Haha it does!
