I'm not gonna say hating the Star Wars sequels makes you a bad person. I'm not a fan myself.
But the amount you bring them up being bad is usually proportional to how bad your vibes are.

Having just finished it, I'd say RE Requim is Resident Evil's DMC5. It's a greatest hits collection of the franchise (or atleast Leon's side of it), while giving a glimpse into where it could go in the future.
Overall banger game. Looking forward to more playthroughs in the future ๐
Just like putting movies on the main monitor, having nothing going on in another screen is the highest respect my ADHD ass can give to a game.
RE Requim is a real "Sit my white ass down and listen" (good headphones and no second monitor noise) experience.
I have rewatched Death Note countless times, and every time I go "I'm gonna watch the whole thing to see how I feel about the back half after taking it all in"
Yet as soon as I hit episode 27, I just end up hitting the
Still can't believe what a spit in the face that game is. And then they decide to release the game that explains a lot of the BS fae lore behind the game months AFTER.
Love Prime Video's key art for Kaguya Sama is clearly AI expanded to make it fit their formatting, but it results in the Student Council room being turned into some backrooms nightmare hallway.
Watched Deep Red with some friends last night, when we saw the hottest move a woman's ever done put to film.

Yup. It cost a pretty penny, but I got the full K9 support, sans the new XYZ dropping with the new set. Testing out combos, its a crazy interactive deck, which is exactly the kind of thing I love.
Been working my ass off the past few months, so now that I have some time, I decided to treat myself by spending a little too build my favorite deck ever and try to hit up some locals
Awh, thanks Scott! Mush appreciated โฅ๏ธ
For real, no joke, every time I added a new section in the back half and it got that much longer, I had the Frieza "bigger Bigger BIGGER" scene running in my head lol

2025 was another amazing year for indies but there were too many that didn't get anywhere near as much attention as they deserved.
Here are 5 of my favourite underrated titles and a montage of 129 upcoming ones, so get your wishlists ready!

In an earlier draft of the script, I did do a direct comparison to Miles Bron. Watched Glass Onion with a friend while I was writing the video and went "this is almost exactly what its like listening to Adi's interviews."

To reiterate my earlier point, I dont think any of this is a grift or people trying to do 4D online marketing strats.
Its just as simple as a dev team that half committed to changing their marketing strategy when they got a deal they felt was too good to pass up and failing to adapt.
And the Wildlight devs have admitted they didnt expect the amount of attention this announcement trailer followed by radio silence until release was going to get them. Now they are in damage control mode while Geoff is poking the bear on Twitter like he is their social media team.
I trust Geoff had only good intentions showing off a smaller studio made up of industry vets making a game he thought was cool, but aside from the ethics of giving them free advertisements where other devs are paying upwards of a million dollars, it kind of forced Wildlights hand.
Having watched the launch trailer, they definitely should have put THIS out for the Game Awards, because it clearly relates what the game loop is and you can tell at a glance if its something you'd vibe with.

First mistake was taking Geoff up on his offer to be shown off at the Game Awards when they had no marketing plans since it was meant to be a shadow drop, and Geoff putting way too much emphasis on a concept announcement trailer they quickly threw together.
I have serious doubts anything regarding the whole Highguard release situation has been done with malicious intent.
Reading comments from the devs, this sounds like a lot of shortsighted mistakes and poor planning, with one individual not knowing how to shut up when something is in damage control.
I will give Valve this, they make it easy to find builds. Since item management isnt remotely intuitive, they made it so people can share their builds to copy, along with full text explanations for each items use and suggestions on how to build for match ups. It's a massive help starting out.
Its definitely a lot closer to a MOBA than a hero shooter, so there is a lot to internalize going in. If I went into it alone rather than with friends, I don't think it would have clicked for me, and even then, it took a few frustrated attempts before that happened.
Bandai formats all their card games like this, and while it isn't necessarily bad, it does make them feel kinda of drag and drop with each IP they get for them. Gundam seems to be the first one that got something resembling unique fonting.

I had this when I was watching random shit on Tubi a while back. Threw on a random Hindi action thriller from 2005, and was Calgary flashbanged. Not just filmed in Calgary but actively set in Calgary. The final action scene is stopping the bomb left in McMahon Stadium during the big soccer game lol
I'd love for certain cons to move out of the states, but relocating and renegotiating every deal thats ever been made isn't remotely that simple, so its hard for me to begrudge the fact they are stuck in a country that sucks.
