While I'm going through applications, some other reasons why we don't accept people are:

1) No posts on your socials. We use socmed to tell if people are likely to be bigots in the server etc and if there's nothing on your profile, it's a risk we don't feel comfortable taking

You MUST be autistic to join this server. Self-diagnosis is valid. If you're on the fence or unsure, please do not join until you are sure. This server is for people who Are autistic; not for people to figure out whether they're autistic. Please respect this.

This is a leftist server. If you support Trump, you are not welcome.
You must be 18+ (it's just easier to communicate when everyone is an adult).
The server has a creative focus but you don't have to be creative to join and hang out.

FAQ: Is it ok if I'm not very active?

Yes! Lurkers are welcome and there is no minmum engagement requirement. The space is there for when you want to use it

FAQ: I applied and never heard back

This can happen for a few reasons but it usually comes down to either:

1) You didn't type your email in correctly
2) You didn't type your socials properly so we couldn't vet you
3) The email went to junk
4) You weren't approved because of bigotry on your socials

Every April, we run the Autistic Creative Festival in the server, we have a bunch of different events planned for everyone to take part in so if that interests you, please fill out an application!

The lure "plops" into the water, where unbeknownst to Jey a fish lurks. Jey exclaims "I GOT ONE?!" as they pull the fish out of the water.

My good friend @thesandlord.bsky.social taught me how to fish this summer and this was my first time throwing a line out! It was very exciting, even if the line didn't actually go anywhere.

I got the hang of throwing the line eventually.

I think part of my problem is that I have this bad habit of not wanting to take up space in a conversion. I've survived by asking questions and not talking too much about myself, mostly bc I think the other person won't be interested, which I think makes me quite boring!!!
